We’re counting down the hours now until a big night of boxing in Newcastle this Saturday March 19th, courtesy of Fight Academy.
Top of the bill at Newcastle’s Hilton Hotel are Dave Allen and Tommy Hodgson, who are both at different stages of their careers.
Big punching heavyweight Allen, 19-5-2 (16), has been a pro since 2012 and is looking to extend his recent two-fight winning streak before a potential, much-talked about clash with Alen ‘The Savage’ Babic later this year.
Hodgson, from nearby North Shields, is at the very beginning of his pro journey. The 25-year-old has been punching for pay for less than a year but has already racked up a 4-0 record and will be having his first professional fight in front of his home fans.
